Client Information: Pandhe Group is one of the reputed contracting enterprises in India and has expertise in construction activities in a variety of sectors like Residential, Commercial, Infrastructure, Institutional, and Industrial. It has executed very prestigious projects awarded by the Government of India for mass housing projects.

Modules Implementing: Bid Management, Cost Estimation, Project Scheduling, Project Monitoring, Subcontractor Management, Client Billing, Procurement, Stores, Plant & Machineries, RMC Production, Financial Accounting, Document Management, HR & Payroll, and Mobility.

Objective: The objective of this project is to provide efficient operational control and project progress visibility to the top management, effective procurement & stores management, and control of the project cost.

Project Description: OPTICON – Construction ERP Solution is been implemented at their Head Office and will be accessed by Corporate Office, All Project Sites, Yards, Warehouses, RMC Production Plants, and the employees.
The corporate house is located in Mumbai and the project sites are spread all across India. The scope of work includes in Supply, Implementation, and Customization of OPTICON including the modules mentioned above.

Issues and Challenges: There were several issues and daunting challenges that Pandhe Group had to overcome and decided to go for complete automation of departments through OPTICON. A few of the challenges are:
Tender BOQ Linking to Project Execution, Estimation linked to Plant & Machineries and Contracting Departments, Effective utilization of High-Cost Plant & Machineries, Flexible Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Target Setting for Site Engineers based on the resource availability, RMC Production Scheduling, Production of RMC and Blocks, Subcontractor Work Duplicacy Checking, Client Billing based on the Tender and Execution inputs, Accessing Real-Time Project Execution information and uniformity in Reports.
